HSCAssociate Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of HSCAssociate (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
HSCAssociate provides NSW HSC-aligned study tools including marking feedback, quizzes, and flashcards. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean HSCAssociate.
2. Accounts
You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the Service, interfere with security, or attempt unauthorised access
- use the Service to break the law or infringe someone else’s rights
- upload harmful content, malware, or abusive material
- share your account in a way that circumvents subscription limits
4. Educational nature
The Service provides educational support and feedback. It does not guarantee academic outcomes, marks, or ATAR results. Use feedback as guidance, not as official marking.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You can cancel anytime, and you’ll keep access until the end of your billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, branding, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service without permission.
Your submitted work remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process it to provide feedback, generate results, and operate the Service.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service to improve performance or comply with legal requirements. We aim to minimise downtime, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or losses arising from reliance on feedback. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use data. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
